LuAnn Mick: August Employee of the Month

The August Employee of the Month is LuAnn Mick. Luann has been a great addition to the Four Winds Team. Her bubbly personality rubs off on everyone she meets. She is always willing to lend a hand. From sitting with residents on their lunch, to staying late to help paint or help with an event; she is always willing to go the extra mile. We could not ask for a better first impression for Four Winds Skilled Nursing and Rehab. Thank you LuAnn for all that you do!

Family Night Version 2.0

Four Winds Skilled Nursing and Rehab hosted Family Night once again on Thursday July 30th. Once again it was a huge success! This month's theme was "A Night on the Farm". The evening began with a petting zoo of farm animals including: pigs, goats, turkeys and sheep.

Our residents loved getting "up close and personal" with these critters.

"Avery" the sheep was a huge hit.

"Wilbur" and "Avery" enjoyed the evening as well.

The night was capped off by the beautiful music of "Men of Note". While the residents and staffed danced the night away they enjoyed watermelon, lemonade, and a beautiful Wisconsin summer night. This event was yet another example of how Four Winds promotes our residents' emotional health as well as their physical well-being.

Merrimac Ferry

Recently some of the staff and residents loaded up the van and headed for an excursion on the Merrimac Ferry. They packed up the essentials including sun screen, water........and ICE CREAM!

July Employee Of the Month

Taniel Boerner

The Employee of the Month for July is Taneil Boerner. Taneil is the Activities Director in our Assisted Living facility. Her creativity and excitement for her job are matched only by her caring attitude towards our residents. Taneil has brought many fresh ideas to the Four Winds Activities Department, and her future is bright. Recently she implemented a monthly "Family Night" that was very successful. June's included Bluegrass music and ice cream sundaes for all who came.

There will be lots more in July as the activities calendar is full of great events. July family night, Merrimac Ferry ride, and piano lessons are just a few of the great activities we have in store for our residents.
